SPOT Lesson Preview

In last Sunday's lesson on Boaz, I mentioned the story took place during the time in Israel's history that the nation was governed by judges.  I even mentioned one of the judges, Gideon.  He is one of the most well-known people to serve in that capacity.  So I have decided we should take a closer look at the man, Gideon.  This Sunday we will do that.

Now, after March 15, there will be two more weeks in August.  That means we will only have two more Adult Rated Bible studies left.  I am giving you the task of deciding which two Bible characters we will look at.

The options are:

• David
• Ahab
• Elijah
• Daniel

You will have an opportunity to cast your vote Sunday and I will let you know the results on a weekly basis as I send out the Lesson Preview.

A Sunday Dessert Feast

Leave it to our fearless leader Kevin, to come up with a new "angle" on Sunday SPOTsnacking -  Angle-Food-a-Rama - a - make that Angel Food-a-Rama is this week!!!  Bring your favorite topping!  Cakes are provided for the snack feast and we already have folks signed up for strawberries, pudding, chocolate syrup, peaches, and cool whip.  If you don't see it on this list, bring it yourself and add to the fun!
