Service Opportunities
Please consider helping in one of our outreach events this next month. Just a few hours to show Christ's love through helping others. Those dates are:
- October 6th-Root Beer Float Booth at the fall festival.
- October 20th-A quick two hours or so helping at the Food Pantry.

Another Date...
...to keep in mind is Sunday, October 21rst for the CSM Parent Social during our usual class time. As most of the parents in the class will be at the meeting, and Don will not be at the helm, class will not meet that Sunday. You can get your Story fix (!) during the service. You can also get the reading guide at Concord's website here!

Prayer Requests
- Prayer of praise and thanksgiving from Terresa,,her back pain is almost completely gone! God's Humor!!!
- Ed asks for prayers to help him with wisdom on which doctor to use for his right hip replacement. He also hurt his knee, and lost movement in that left knee...so he needs to see his ortho.
- Prayers of healing for Kevin (me) as I am finding out that I am continuing to lose lung function. But also praise that my doctor put me on a pain patch that is really helping out with the leftover pain from shingles!
- J.T. Howard is living in Tennessee, and being away from his family
- Terresa is going to be a grandma!!!
